An off-grid A-frame cabin in the jungle of Isla Colón
The Pause is an 80 m² eco cabin inside the Plastic Bottle Village, on the road to Boca del Drago. It runs on solar power and collected rainwater, and it sits far enough from town that what you hear at night is frogs and rain on the roof.
This is the slow version of Bocas del Toro. A cup of coffee facing the trees, the sound of leaves, and a whole day with nothing you have to do.

What you should know before you book
THE SPACE — 80 m² (860 sq ft), sleeps up to 5. One bedroom with a Queen bed, two full-size sofa beds, living room, dining area, kitchen, private bathroom, and a covered balcony over the jungle. Air conditioning and WiFi throughout. Free parking on site.
HOW FAR FROM THINGS — Ten minutes by car to downtown Bocas. Five minutes to the nearest beach. Fifteen to the airport. You are on the road toward Boca del Drago and Starfish Beach, so day trips are easy, and you come back to quiet.
RUNNING ON SUN AND RAIN — Power comes from solar panels, water from rainwater collection. The air conditioning works, and we ask you to keep it at 24°C / 75°F and lean on it during sunny days when the panels are producing. On rainy days and cool nights, use it when you need it. It is a small trade for staying somewhere that runs on sunlight instead of a generator.
A CABIN IN A RAINFOREST — Rain on the roof, jungle sounds at night, and the occasional insect or bit of wildlife come with the place. If that sounds good to you rather than alarming, you will like it here.
PETS — Up to two small pets are welcome, under their owner's care.
